Smash Padel are looking to recruit a Coach to support their Padel centre in Whitstable, with a special focus on juniors and technical delivery.
The Role
To support the Head Coach and Centre Manager in delivering on-court activities across all ages and abilities, while helping grow the junior programme and drive commercial performance.
Responsibilities
- Deliver on-court activities for all ages and abilities
- Manage the junior pathway and deliver Smashers and Junior programmes
- Support colleagues to develop their padel coaching
- Drive commercial performance through excellent standards and service
- Work with the LTA, community groups and management to grow the programme
- Develop initiatives to recruit new customers and maximise court usage
- Ensure Smash Padel brand values are represented correctly across all channels
- Work reception and fulfil administration duties as part of the team
Requirements — Essential
- Elite level experience in racket sports as a player or coach
- Background in team sports as a player, coach or administrator
- Good IT literacy with ability to self-teach
- Ability to work flexible hours and under pressure
- Ability to meet deadlines and deliver revenue targets
Requirements — Desirable
- Strong coaching background in racket sports
- Experience of business development and performance analysis
- Knowledge of safeguarding and health and safety governance
- Experience working to KPIs within a senior management structure
- Digital marketing and content creation experience
